There's always something to learn at the Library!

The Bollinger County Library is not just a great place to check out a book. We are first and foremost a Literacy Center for all ages. The new mother that comes in to get their child started as a life long reader, the father that comes in to try to get his son some books that he will enjoy and the Grandmother that needs books to get her through the bad weather. Second, we are a Technology center. We have the only secure, filtered public computer access in the county. We help all ages with not only the computers we have but also when they get a new device and can't quite figure it out we are there to help. We are also the only public fax, copy and notary service in the county.

Possibly the most unknown service that we provide is as a community partner. We partner with almost every public and civic agency in the county, not to duplicate services but to enhance services. Our partners include MERS/Goodwill, East Missouri Action agency, the Schools, the Food Pantry, the Health Center, Extension Office, Chamber and many more.
